LDM 3W IR Illuminator - Subzero Lasers

The IR3K Infared Long Distance Illuminator is a hand-held focus laser-light built for law enforcement and military use. The design integrates a 3Watt 980nm or 830nm (can be ordered in either of the two) infared laser with a thumb controlled linear optical collimator to create the ultimate illuminating instrument. One thumb control quickly adjusts the laser beam diameter and the illumination intensity. The 3Watt high-powered laser beam may be collimated down and concentrated to cast an intense, highly visible beam of light that can be seen at distances up to 5 miles. The IR3K can be used for signaling or search and rescue operations along with night vision viewing. The IR3K can be adjusted so that opening the collimator more increases the diameter of the beam which can fully illuminate objects up to 500 yards for night vision viewing. The IR3K utilizes a 3Watt infared laser which operates at 980nm which leaves no trace beam or light to give your position away; however, it is not compatible with all generations of night vision. The 830nm is compatible with all generations of night vision, but will leave a small trace possibly revealing your position like all infared lasers operating between the 800-890nm range do. The IR3K has a output life of up to 4 hours of continuous use using the supplied 3.7 volt rechargeable lithium battery.
